About Me

SHAKE

One of my favorite kitchen tools is my cocktail shaker.  I feel like a kid in a candy store every time I walk down the vodka/rum/liqueur aisle of my local liquor store.  Marshmallow, salted caramel, cotton candy, bacon…. Okay, I haven’t tried the bacon flavored vodka yet but I am seriously considering it!  Breakfast martini anyone?

I love mixing up new cocktail recipes and I have the bottle collection to prove it, so if you enjoy a good happy hour every now and then you are going to love me!

BAKE

My first job out of high school was washing pans in a grocery store bakery.  That was all I did the ENTIRE TIME during my four hour shifts.  Can you say dishpan hands?  YUCK!  Thankfully I graduated to cake decorating – nothing fancy, but I know my way around a cupcake.  I don’t really like to cook (I am perfectly happy toasting up a bagel for dinner) but I always have a great time baking – sometimes incorporating a little of the aforementioned booze into my creations.  In addition to decorating cupcakes, I started decorating sugar cookies a few years ago so sometimes you will get to see my attempts at cookie art.

and PARTY!

Cocktails and cupcakes?  Sounds like a party to me!  Turn on a little music, kick back and enjoy!
